In fact in many outlying areas where there is a Military-Industrial complex, the state of Nevada has the highest rate of Gun owners because of the dual citizenry of Nevadan's who both served in the US Military in civilian life. What's also missing is the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (METRO) the FBI in keeping down the level of violence. For instance in my former city of Las Vegas Nevada, there is a huge Criminal Element of STREET GANGS who are Blacks Mexicans or Hispanics as well as the Mafia that still operate in the city. One of METRO's FBI achievements is forcing the Black Mexican or Hispanic GANGS to work together with the American Mafia. On Cinco De Mayo which is a Mexican or Hispanic Holiday, there are many Black people that pay observance to Mexican or Hispanic culture in early May. On Martin Luther King Holiday in late January, there are many Mexican or Hispanic people paying respects to Black Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King. Nevada may be a Conservative State but forces different ethnic religious groups to get along with each other unlike in California.
